Overview
We are seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented, and bilingual HR Onboarding Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in onboarding, auditing, and managing employee caseloads within a fast-paced and compliance-driven environment. This role requires a professional who can balance empathy with structure, ensuring that all new hires have a positive onboarding experience while maintaining full compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete.
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure smooth integration into the company culture.
- Maintain and audit employee files for compliance with internal policies, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage a caseload of active employees, providing ongoing HR support, updates, and follow-ups as needed.
- Collaborate with management and field staff to ensure all onboarding and credentialing requirements are met on time.
- Generate and review reports related to onboarding, compliance, and employee status changes.
- Assist in the development and refinement of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) related to HR and onboarding processes.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees regarding HR inquiries, policies, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
- 3–5 years of experience in HR, onboarding, or compliance—experience in the home care, healthcare, or staffing industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance, audits, and personnel file maintenance.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and caseloads simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Proficient in HRIS systems, Excel, and general administrative software.
- Mature, dependable, and capable of working independently while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
