About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Service Manager to oversee maintenance operations at a 278-unit Multi-family community in Homewood, AL. This is a working manager role— you will be responsible for leading a team while also performing hands-on maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all property maintenance, work orders, and preventative care
• Perform and supervise repairs: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry
• Support and supervise the maintenance team
• Ensure property is safe, clean, and well-maintained
• Manage inventory, budgets, vendors, and contractors
• Participate in on-call emergency maintenance rotation

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience (multi-family or commercial preferred)
• Leadership or supervisory experience a plus
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
