Nurse Practitioner

SUMMARY

Nanoom Medical Group is looking for a Family/Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Los Angeles, CA! The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate new patient consultation and health history review (face to face or telehealth)
• Perform physical examinations and screenings of patients
• Orders, reviews and interprets diagnostic tests, including x-rays, blood work, and scans
• Recommend further treatment options or future appointments if needed
• Provide referrals to other providers, when necessary
• Provide after-care/ongoing care information to patients and their families
• Ensure patient records are kept up to date including test results, immunizations, condition changes, etc.
• Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options.
• Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up to date before prescribing medication/treatment.
• Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing.
• Record complete, timely and legible medical records.
• All other duties as reasonable assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Unrestricted California State Medical License
• Current California DEA Certificate required to start
• MSN, DNP
• Proficient in EHR medical charting and computer-based data management programs/information systems
• Experience assisting with primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience after graduation is preferred

POSITION DETAILS

• 18-25 patients per day (40 mins for new patients and annual wellness visits, 20 mins for follow-ups)
• Primarily Adult patients
• Preventative Medicine / Capitated HMO population, Original-Fee-for-service Medicare
• No Call, 100% Outpatient

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
