BILINGUAL LEGAL ASSISTANT - CRIMINAL CASE MANAGER

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Bilingual Criminal Case Manager to join our Goldsboro office. The Case Manager will be responsible for supporting attorneys in criminal defense matters, working closely with clients, and ensuring cases are handled efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients in criminal cases, providing updates and answering questions.
• Translate and interpret between English and Spanish for clients, attorneys, and court documents.
• Draft, file, and organize legal documents and case materials.
• Coordinate with courts, prosecutors, and other agencies to manage deadlines and schedules.
• Maintain case files in our case management system.
• Assist attorneys in trial preparation and client meetings.
• Ensure clients feel supported and understood throughout the legal process.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in legal or administrative work preferred, but not required (we provide training).
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
