We are seeking a highly competent, motivated, and energetic Bilingual Medical Receptionist to join our team. This is a busy, fast-paced clinic environment, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a high-volume setting, delivers exceptional customer service, and takes pride in providing an outstanding patient experience.

This role is ideal for someone who is extremely organized, confident with insurance verification, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities at once.

Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Patient Coordination (Primary Responsibilities)

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits using Availity and payer portals
• Confirm copays, deductibles, and coinsurance amounts prior to appointments
• Collect copays, deductibles, and balances at check-in or check-out
• Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining excellent service
• Answer high-volume incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
• Schedule new and follow-up patient appointments
• Manage and coordinate provider schedules
• Maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments, documentation, and insurance questions
• Assist with prior authorizations when needed
• Maintain organized patient records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Ensure smooth patient flow within the clinic

Clinical Support (Training Provided)

• Assist with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment sessions
• Monitor patients during Spravato (Esketamine) treatment observation periods
• Provide general patient support during in-office treatments
• Maintain a clean, organized treatment environment
• Document treatment observations in the EHR

Training will be provided for clinical procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bilingual English / Spanish (REQUIRED)
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a medical front desk or healthcare office
• Experience with insurance verification
• Experience checking copays, deductibles, and patient balances
• Comfortable answering multi-line phone systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Availity
• Experience with psychiatry or behavioral health practices
• Familiarity with prior authorizations
• Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Experience in high-volume medical practices
