BILLING AND MEDICAL CODER – HOMECARE

We are currently seeking a Billing and Medical Coder with prior experience in the homecare sector to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical procedures and services, preparing and submitting claims, and ensuring compliance with insurance regulations specific to homecare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze medical documentation to assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Ensure accurate and timely billing of homecare services to insurance providers
• Verify and validate patient insurance coverage
• Resolve billing discrepancies and follow up on unpaid claims
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records
• Stay up to date with payer regulations and homecare coding guidelines
• Coordinate with nurses and physicians for proper documentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience in medical coding and billing, specifically in a homecare setting (Mandatory).
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCA, CCS) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Advanced experience in UAE insurance billing processes and portals (e.g., Daman, Thiqa, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in medical billing software and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate.
