Billing and Payment Specialist

About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Medical Biller with at least one year of billing experience and a solid understanding of Revenue Cycle Management. In this role, you’ll handle accurate claim preparation, timely submissions, and consistent follow-up to help ensure the organization receives proper reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit electronic and paper claims.
• Check billing data for accuracy and confirm that all claims meet payer and industry rules.
• Follow up on claims, address denials, and submit appeals when needed.
• Post payments, reconcile accounts, and resolve billing issues.
• Protect patient information and follow all HIPAA requirements.
• Work with providers, patients, and insurance representatives to keep billing moving smoothly.
• Review aging reports and track outstanding balances.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of medical billing experience.
• Hands-on experience with RCM processes.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
• Familiarity with EMRs and billing software.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and clear communication.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Billing or coding certification (CPC, CPB, or similar).
• Experience with systems like Athena, Kareo, or Epic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
