Authorization Specialist

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM

Location: Corvallis, MT in our Corvallis Physical Therapy clinic building
Wage: $19.00/hour

About Us
We’re a locally established physical therapy clinic in Corvallis focused on providing consistent, high-quality care to our community. We’re looking to add one reliable, detail-oriented team member to support our authorization processes.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll help ensure patients can receive care without delays by handling insurance-related processes behind the scenes. Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Requesting and tracking prior authorizations
• Verifying insurance benefits and coverage details
• Keeping authorization records up to date in our system
• Following up on expiring authorizations
• Assisting with resolving denials or missing information
• Communicating with patients and insurance companies as needed
• Working closely with our front desk and clinical team

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with insurance verification or prior authorizations is helpful
• Medical office or physical therapy experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Able to manage multiple tasks and stay on top of deadlines
• Clear and professional communication skills
