Frasier is seeking a knowledgeable, detail-driven Billing Business Manager to lead resident billing and accounts receivable across private pay, Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance programs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and cross-departmental partnership. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring billing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and a positive experience for residents and families—bringing confidence, care, and consistency to every step of the billing process

WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Billing Operations (Medicare & Medicaid Focus)
- Manage resident billing across Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, and insurance, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
- Partner with thirdparty billing vendors and external payers to resolve claims, denials, and followup items.
Census Accuracy & Revenue Integrity
- Maintain accurate resident census data and collaborate with admissions, clinical, and finance teams to prevent billing errors.
Cash Receipts & Accounts Receivable
- Oversee cash receipts, deposits, accounts receivable, and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
Regulatory Reporting & Audit Support
- Prepare billing and census reports for CMS, State agencies, and regulators, and support audits and reviews as needed.
WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED
- Strong working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing, including payer rules, documentation requirements, and timelines.
- Experience in a hospital, skilled nursing, or senior living environment where regulatory compliance and billing accuracy are critical.
- Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and general ledger concepts.
- Experience coordinating with third-party billing vendors and external payers.
- Proficiency using billing and accounting systems such as PointClickCare, Carefeed, Sage Intacct, Fullcount, or similar platforms.
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or equivalent experience required.
- Progressive experience in healthcare billing and accounts receivable; supervisory or lead experience preferred.
