Billing / Chiropractic Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a role in providing exceptional patient service and billing within our chiropractic practice. This position requires a mild understanding of anatomy, as well as the ability to submit billing to insurance companies. Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients upon arrival, conversate and provide a welcoming environment.
  • Verify insurance co-pays and deductibles.
  • Assist the chiropractor during patient assessments and treatment sessions if needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including billing through Chirofusion EHR.
  • Assist in delivering patient's treatment plans, exercises, and wellness strategies.
  • Ensure the clinic is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups effectively.

Requirements

  • Strong patient service skills with a positive attitude and a good sense of humor.
  • Knowledge of anatomy to assist in patient assessments effectively. (or willingness to learn)
  • Ability to learn medical terminology that is essential for billing and record-keeping.
  • Ability to perform intake procedures efficiently when needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff.
