We are looking for an experienced Billing Engineer with strong knowledge of CPWD billing procedures, project documentation, and quantity surveying. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing bills, RA bills, subcontractor bills, material reconciliation, and maintaining accurate records in alignment with CPWD norms and contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit client running account (RA) bills as per CPWD formats and contract terms.
- Verify and certify subcontractor/vendor bills based on actual work done and measurements.
- Take joint measurements at site and prepare MB (Measurement Book) entries.
- Ensure all billing is supported by proper drawings, checklists, material receipts, and approvals.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and client representatives for measurements and billing clearance.
- Maintain reconciliation of quantities of materials issued and consumed at the site.
- Prepare and manage BOQ-based billing, extra item billing, and deviation statements.
- Ensure compliance with CPWD billing norms, DSR, and specifications.
- Assist in cost tracking, budgeting, and project progress billing.
- Maintain systematic and up-to-date records of all billing-related documentation.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of experience in billing for CPWD/government building projects.
- Strong knowledge of CPWD billing formats, DSR (Delhi Schedule of Rates), contract conditions, and relevant codes.
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software (ERP knowledge preferred).
- Excellent skills in quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and BOQ interpretation.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work with site and client teams.
- Willingness to relocate and work at project sites across India.
