Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project budgets for civil construction and maintenance, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
- Monitor project expenditures, analyze variances, and prepare regular financial reports for management.
- Implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency and accountability.
- Certify contractor bills, verifying they align with contract terms and actual site progress.
- Review and verify contractor bills, claims, and variations according to specifications and the bill of quantities (BOQ).
- Prepare sub-contract agreements and award sub-contracts.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to optimize project costs.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Perform value engineering exercises and analyze cost implications of materials, labor, and construction methods.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, internal policies, and project-specific procedures.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare cost plans at various design stages, including concept, schematic, and design development.
