Job Summary:
The Counter Billing Executive is responsible for managing billing processes at the counter, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoicing, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records, handle customer inquiries regarding billing, and facilitate smooth payment transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing Management:
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers promptly and accurately.
- Verify billing information to ensure all charges are correct.
- Process payments received at the counter, including cash, credit/debit transactions, and checks.
- Customer Service:
- Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding billing, payments, and account status.
- Provide assistance in resolving any billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain organized records of billing transactions and customer interactions.
- Update customer account information as necessary.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, customer service) to resolve any billing-related issues.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports as needed.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding billing and payments.
- Stay updated on changes in billing procedures and software.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a billing, finance, or customer service role is desirable.
- Familiarity with billing software and accounting practices.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and billing software.
- Ability to handle cash transactions and basic accounting tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
