Job summary
The Billing & Planning Engineer will be responsible for managing all billing processes and planning activities for construction projects within the real estate sector. The role involves ensuring that all billing is accurate, timely, and compliant with contract terms, as well as developing comprehensive project schedules and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Billing Management: Oversee and manage the entire billing process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms. This includes preparing and verifying invoices, maintaining records, and resolving any discrepancies or disputes.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for various stages of construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment, ensuring that estimates are in line with project budgets and timelines.
- Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines. Coordinate with project teams to monitor progress and update schedules as necessary.
- Contract Administration: Assist in the preparation and review of contracts, ensuring that billing terms are clearly defined and understood by all parties involved.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze project data to generate reports on billing status, progress against plan, and resource allocation, providing insights to project managers and stakeholders.
- Software Proficiency: Auto-CAD, MS-Office, Microsoft Project
Key Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in billing and planning engineering within the real estate or construction industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management software and tools used in the real estate industry
