Position Summary:
The Billing Representative is involved in the billing of private insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid.

What you will do:

• Answers incoming calls from Referrals and customers placing orders
• RequestPrescriptions for customers as needed
• Obtains insurance authorization and recertification as needed
• Maintains accurate and complete records concerning billing activity and inventory tracking.
• Examines insurance explanation of benefits to assure responsibility and identify rejected insurance billings. Rework and rebill rejected accounts in a timely manner.
• Supplies supervisor with current account status for collection evaluation

What you will need:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of data entry experience required.
