Billing Specialist

Job Overview Hanover Wrecker Service of TN, Inc is a fast-paced, professional towing company dedicated to providing top-notch roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, efficiency, and teamwork. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process billing statements and invoices for clients.
• Review and verify billing data for accuracy, including journal entries.
• Negotiate payment terms with clients as necessary to ensure timely collections.
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding billing issues or account status.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all billing activity.
• Audit Calls

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Pay

• Pay starts at $14 per hour for the duration of training. Once training is completed, pay is raised to $16 per hour (based on performance and experience).
