About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Practice Coordinator to support attorneys and timekeepers in a fast-paced law firm environment. This role provides comprehensive administrative, practice, and billing support while delivering exceptional internal and external client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, meetings, travel, and communications
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
• Create, edit, and proofread legal and administrative documents
• Open and close client matters, process conflicts, and prepare engagement letters
• Coordinate billing, time entry, prebills, and invoicing in collaboration with attorneys and finance teams
• Assist with budgeting, reports, and client billing inquiries
• Organize meetings, events, and virtual conferences
• Maintain electronic and paper files in compliance with firm policies
• Partner with Billing, Marketing, IT, and other departments to support practice needs
• Provide backup support, assist with training, and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience supporting attorneys in a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong knowledge of legal documents, billing processes, and law firm operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, DocuSign, document management and billing systems (e.g., Aderant or 3E)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
