BIM Coordinator

We are seeking for a skilled BIM Coordinator to support BIM management across projects. The candidate will coordinate BIM models, assist in clash detection, and ensure all models comply with project standards. This role requires hands-on experience, attention to detail, and effective coordination with project teams and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating BIM activities within their assigned discipline in accordance with the BEP.
• Managing discipline models to ensure compliance with approved standards, LOD, LOI, and modeling guidelines.
• Federating multidisciplinary models and conducting clash detection using approved coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks).
• Preparing, issuing, and maintaining clash detection reports, including tracking and closure of coordination issues.
• Coordinating interfaces between disciplines and resolving spatial and system conflicts.
• Conducting and participating in weekly BIM coordination meetings and documenting action items.
• Supporting the BIM Manager in maintaining the MIDP and TIDPs.
• Ensuring accurate extraction of coordinated drawings, schedules, and quantities from models.
• Ensuring coordination with COBie and Asset Information requirements as defined in the BEP.
• Verifying that BIM Engineers and Modelers comply with project BIM standards and workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (e.g., civil engineering, architecture) from recognized institute.
• 10 years of professional experience in BIM coordination on construction projects.
• Strong experience in BIM modeling and coordination.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of construction methods, architectural detailing, and BIM standards.
• Experience in Qatar or GCC construction projects preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
