EXP Arabia is seeking a versatile, experienced, and reliable “MEP BIM Engineer” with the following requirements:

• Develop, update, and maintain BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical power, lighting, and ELV systems.
• Model MEP systems in alignment with design intent, engineering calculations, project specifications, and construction requirements.
• Produce detailed plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and installation details from BIM models.
• Ensure BIM models are aligned with approved drawings, specifications, engineering design information, and project standards.
• Maintain model accuracy, consistency, data integrity, and compliance with BIM execution requirements.
• Prepare and update models, drawings, and digital deliverables using Revit MEP and related BIM authoring tools.
• Generate model-based drawings, markups, and redline updates to support design coordination, construction, and site requirements.
• Develop parametric Revit models integrating MEP systems with architectural, structural, and other disciplines, ensuring accurate routing, clearances, and system connectivity.
• Execute multidisciplinary BIM coordination through federated model integration, conducting clash detection and producing actionable clash reports using Navisworks, ACC, or similar platforms.
• Coordinate MEP models with architectural, structural, and other building systems to identify and resolve spatial conflicts and constructability issues.
• Support project delivery through Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documentation (CD) stages, ensuring timely model updates and drawing production.
• Administer sheet creation, revision management, and documentation control in accordance with project and AEC standards.
• Validate model quality and integrity, extract schedules, quantities, equipment data, and support specification coordination.
• Support the preparation of MEP shop drawings, fabrication drawings, builder’s work drawings, and detailed construction documentation derived from BIM models.
• Ensure alignment between BIM models and issued engineering drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Update models based on RFIs, site instructions, design changes, and as-built information.
• Support the development of as-built MEP models and closeout documentation.
• Maintain BIM coordination logs, clash registers, model records, and issue tracking documentation.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings, model review workshops, and technical discussions with multidisciplinary teams.
• Track coordination issues and support timely resolution in collaboration with project stakeholders.
• Extract and verify quantity take-offs (QTO), equipment schedules, and material quantities from BIM models.
• Support BIM Execution Plan (BEP) implementation in accordance with ISO 19650 requirements and project BIM standards.
• Utilize Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM Collaborate Pro, or similar Common Data Environments (CDE) for issue tracking, model sharing, and coordination workflows.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, Level of Development (LOD) requirements, naming conventions, and quality assurance procedures .

Background and Qualifica tions

• 4+ Years of Experience in BIM Modeling in Saudi Arabia
• Holder of a degree/certification in BIM is a plus
• Proficient in REVIT

• Professionalism: Appropriate written and verbal communications skills.
• Professional presentation external and internal to office. (IE: attire, engagement, meeting prep, etc.)
• Positively contributes to EXP and local office culture.
