BIM Engineer – Joinery & Fit-Out

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for custom joinery, cabinetry, wall paneling, ceilings, doors, and fit-out elements using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare shop drawings, cutting lists, and fabrication drawings from BIM models.
• Coordinate joinery models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks Manage and resolve conflicts prior to production.
• Work closely with production and workshop teams to ensure model accuracy and manufacturability.
• Generate material take-offs and BOQs from BIM models.
• Maintain BIM standards, families, templates, and libraries specific to joinery components.
• Ensure models comply with project specifications, site conditions, and client requirements.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and technical reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in BIM modeling within joinery, woodworking, or interior fit-out projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (families, parametric modeling, detailing).
• Strong understanding of joinery detailing, materials, hardware, and production processes.
• Experience producing detailed shop drawings and IFC drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC fabrication workflows is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD for 2D detailing.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Dynamo for automation.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing for interior fit-out.
• Experience working on luxury retail, hospitality, or high-end residential projects.
