BIM HVAC Modeler

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and manage HVAC models using Revit MEP or other BIM tools.
• Prepare coordinated drawings, sections, and schedules from the BIM model.
• Ensure all HVAC models comply with company and project BIM standards.
• Collaborate with other discipline modelers (Architecture, Structure, Electrical, Plumbing) to resolve clashes.
• Generate fabrication drawings and detailed layouts for HVAC systems.
• Update and maintain models as per design changes and client comments.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and model reviews.
• Assist in creating project-specific BIM execution plans (BEP).
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain model version control.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3 9 years of experience in BIM HVAC modeling.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems (ducting, piping, equipment layouts).
• Familiarity with Middle East project standards
