Job Purpose
The BIM Manager is responsible for leading the implementation, coordination, and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for tunnel and underground infrastructure projects. The role ensures high-quality digital delivery, clash-free models, and alignment with project, client, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
BIM Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
- Define BIM standards, workflows, and data management protocols
- Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and project requirements
Model Coordination
- Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination (civil, structural, MEP, tunnel systems)
- Manage clash detection and resolution using tools like Navisworks
- Oversee model integration for tunnel elements (lining, shafts, ventilation, track systems)
Project Delivery
- Monitor BIM deliverables across design and construction phases
- Ensure accurate LOD (Level of Development) at each stage
- Support 4D (schedule) and 5D (cost) BIM integration
Stakeholder Coordination
- Interface with consultants, contractors, and client teams
- Lead BIM coordination meetings and workshops
- Provide technical guidance to BIM engineers and modelers
Digital & Data Management
- Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC)
- Ensure proper version control, data integrity, and documentation
- Support digital handover and asset information models (AIM)
Key Systems & Tools
- Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks
- BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Bentley OpenTunnel / OpenRail (preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- BIM certification (Autodesk / ISO 19650) preferred
Experience
- 10+ years in BIM for infrastructure projects
- Minimum 5 years in a BIM leadership/management role
- Strong experience in tunnel, metro, or underground projects
- GCC/UAE experience highly preferred
Skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 standards
- Expertise in clash detection and model coordination
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of tunnel construction methodologies (TBM, NATM)

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
