BIM Mechanical Engineer

Mira Construction L.L.C and Mancini is looking for a driven and detail-oriented BIM Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team. In this vital role, you will utilise Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology to enhance the design and execution of mechanical systems in our construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage 3D models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical systems, ensuring integration with architectural and structural components.
• Conduct clash detection and resolution, coordinating with other engineering disciplines to minimize conflicts during construction.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design intent is effectively communicated and executed.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and construction drawings derived from BIM models.
• Provide support and training to team members on BIM best practices and software tools.
• Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in BIM technology and mechanical engineering.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BIM Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and Navisworks, as well as AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, construction processes, and relevant building codes.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills to work collaboratively in teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
