Position Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and driven professional to work as a Project Manager on large-scale Architecture and Urban Design projects. The ideal candidate will aim to create an exceptional client experience through seamless coordination, solution-oriented thinking, and timely and flawless support. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the design and construction process, monitoring every stage from project conception through to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Review Good for Construction (GFC) drawings and tender specifications.
• Review and flag workmanship issues in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Manage day-to-day coordination with architects and consultant teams.
• Coordinate the sample approval process and execution of mock-ups.
• Proactively identify and raise concerns or potential issues before they arise.
• Conduct regular site visits to review and document quality issues and prepare detailed site visit reports.
• Review and issue quality and workmanship observation reports.
• Keep the design and project management teams informed of site progress.
• Prepare draft presentations for construction status and review meetings.
• Maintain site documentation in accordance with defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain trackers for various site activities.
• Coordinate closure of Requests for Information (RFIs), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), and shop drawings, and maintain accurate logs.

Education:

• Mandatory: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Preferred (Optional): Master’s degree in Project Management.

Experience:

• Years: 2 to 5 years
• Industry: Architectural Consultancy, Construction Management, or Project Management Company

Skills (Mandatory):

• Excellent communication skills with high proficiency in English.
• Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, collate information, and prepare reports.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• High proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
• Sound understanding of design concepts, drawings, construction codes, and standards.
• Ability to think rationally and resolve issues using a solution-oriented approach.
• High energy, a positive can-do attitude, and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure timely project completion.

Skills (Preferred):

• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write Marathi fluently and accurately.
• Knowledge of architectural building systems, construction methodologies, material applications, construction contracts, Building Information Modeling (BIM), integrated design processes, and green building guidelines.
