BIM Structure Engineer

Role Purpose

We are seeking a skilled BIM Structure Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) for structural elements of construction projects. This role requires a deep understanding of structural engineering principles and expertise in BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and manage 3D structural models using BIM software.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and construction teams for integrated BIM delivery.
• Interpret and apply structural drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts in coordination with other disciplines.
• Generate accurate structural shop drawings, BOQs, and schedules from BIM models.
• Support the implementation and enforcement of BIM standards and protocols.
• Update models to reflect design changes or site conditions.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide technical input.
• Ensure model accuracy and quality control at various project stages.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit Structure, Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Strong understanding of structural engineering concepts and detailing.
• Familiarity with BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and workflows.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
