Job Description:
- Repair, maintain, calibrate, and inspect a diverse range of therapeutic and diagnostic biomedical instrumentation and equipment
- Manage and oversee equipment installations and planning.
- Perform preventive maintenance of clinical equipment, devices, and systems.
- Diagnose and correct system and equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain updated inventory and documentation on new equipment, inspections, and equipment repairs and failures
- Schedule and oversee third-party repair as necessary.
- Provide user training, technical assistance and instruction on equipment operation and maintenance to hospital personnel.
- Maintain good relationships with fellow workers, nursing and medical staff, vendors, manufacturers, patients and their families.
- Expected to participate in meetings, seminars, training, workshops, and conferences as required.
- To perform all kinds of task assigned by HOD to take initiative & plan innovations for betterment of organization.
Areas covered: ICU, NICU, Radiology, Operation Theater, Labor Room, IPD, Dialysis, CSSD, Emergency, OPD, Medical Gases Monitoring, Dialysis & Endoscopy requiring in need equipment.
Other Requirments:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized institution and must be registered by the Association of Medical Engineering.
- At least 01 to 03 years of minimum experience in this position and must preferably be in a hospital exposure.
