Bio Medical Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a Biomedical Technician to support hospital operations by ensuring proper functioning, safety, and reliability of medical equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Job Description:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (PPM & breakdowns) of medical equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment used in ICU, OT, wards, and diagnostic departments
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new medical equipment
• Maintain maintenance records, PPM logs, and asset registers
• Ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime
• Coordinate with clinical and technical teams for effective equipment support

Job Specification:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering / Electronics / Related Technical Field
• 1–3 years of relevant hospital experience (fresh candidates may also apply)
• Good knowledge of hospital medical equipment
• Sound understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing medical equipment
• Ability to interpret service manuals and technical documentation
