Bio-Medical Technician

Job Responsibilities:

Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medical equipment such as patient monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, imaging devices, and laboratory instruments.

Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks according to manufacturer guidelines and hospital policies.

Calibrate equipment and verify performance to ensure accuracy and patient safety.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance, calibration, and repairs.

Coordinate with medical staff to minimize equipment downtime and ensure operational readiness.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or ITI Certificate in Biomedical Engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of medical devices and instrumentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and safety standards for medical equipment.

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Facility Management (FM) industry.

Proven experience in inspection, maintenance, and repair of hospital or FM medical equipment
