Biochemistry -Technician

Yashoda Hospital is looking for a skilled and motivated Biochemistry Lab Technician to join team. The ideal candidate must have 1-4 years of experience in a clinical biochemistry lab, and must be willing and able to work night shifts as a mandatory requirement of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency biochemistry tests (e.g., LFT, RFT, blood glucose, lipid profile).
• Operate fully and semi-automated analysers.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of patient samples.
• Maintain strict adherence to quality control and lab protocols.
• Accurately record and report test results using the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Handle samples responsibly and maintain all safety and infection control standards.
• Communicate with doctors and senior staff for urgent reporting or clarification.
• Take full responsibility for lab operations during assigned night shifts.

Candidate Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: DMLT or B.Sc. MLT from a recognized institute.
• Experience: 1-2 years in biochemistry lab
• Shift Requirement: Must be willing and able to work night shifts.
• Familiarity with NABL/NABH protocols is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, under minimal supervision.
• Good communication,organizational, and analytical skills.
