Job Description

A Biology Teacher plays a critical role in cultivating students' understanding of biological sciences. As a Biology Teacher, you will inspire and educate students about the fascinating world of biology, drawing connections to living organisms, ecosystems, and genetic principles. You will be responsible for devising and implementing lesson plans that are engaging and interactive, encouraging students to explore the depths of biological science. Your role involves not only delivering knowledge but also fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in students. Additionally, you will maintain a nurturing classroom environment that promotes curiosity and academic growth while upholding school policies and educational standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement biology lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Deliver engaging and interactive lectures on various biological subjects.
• Incorporate multimedia resources and laboratory experiments in teaching sessions.
• Assess students' progress through regular quizzes, tests, and projects.
• Provide additional support and tutoring to students needing extra help.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field from an accredited university.
• Teaching certification or license in Biology education is required.
• Prior teaching experience in middle or high school settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of biological sciences and teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for classroom instruction.
• Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
