Position Overview

We are looking for a committed and experienced Biology Teacher to join our CBSE school in Ballari. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in CBSE curriculum, excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to engage students effectively. B.Ed is mandatory. Accommodation will be provided for the selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Biology to Classes 8–10 / 11–12 (as per school requirement) following the CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and interactive classroom activities.
• Conduct lab sessions and ensure proper handling of biological specimens and equipment.
• Use modern teaching methods to make learning engaging and concept-oriented.
• Assess students through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Provide individual guidance, doubt-clearing sessions, and academic support.
• Maintain discipline and create an encouraging and positive classroom environment.
• Participate in academic planning, school meetings, and professional development programs.
• Maintain student performance records and prepare progress reports.
• Collaborate with faculty to enhance curriculum delivery and learning outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology / Life Sciences + B.Ed (Compulsory)
• Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
• Strong knowledge of Biology concepts and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students through creative teaching methods.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology (preferred).
