Biomedical Engineer

• Equipment Management:Install, set up, adjust, and test new medical equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Maintenance & Repair:Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and repair malfunctions to minimize equipment downtime.
• Calibration & Quality Assurance:Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
• Technical Support & Training:Provide technical expertise to healthcare professionals, train them on the proper and safe use of equipment, and respond to their inquiries.
• Risk Management:Conduct risk assessments and manage the inventory and lifecycle of medical devices within the hospital.
• Documentation:Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, calibration results, and equipment performance to ensure compliance and for future reference.
• Research & Development Support:Assist with evaluating new medical technologies, and provide technical recommendations for procurement and implementation.
• Collaboration:Work closely with other departments and medical staff to understand equipment needs and ensure seamless integration of technology into patient care.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and their application in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and collaborating with diverse staff.
• Familiarity with medical device safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
