About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Biomedical Engineer to join our Multi Speciality Hospital in Madurai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of medical equipment that directly supports patient care and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment and hospital medical devices
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory norms
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide timely technical support to clinical teams
• Maintain accurate documentation for equipment servicing, AMC, and calibration records
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment installation, warranty claims, and service support
• Support new equipment procurement by evaluating technical specifications
• Ensure adherence to NABH, JCI, or other applicable healthcare quality standards

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment, diagnostics, and life-support systems
• Familiarity with hospital safety protocols and biomedical regulations
• Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with doctors, nurses, and vendors
• Willingness to respond to emergency equipment breakdowns
