Responsible to work independently in providing repairs and preventative maintenance for biomedical equipment(s) in the Clinic. Responsible for maintaining records, document results and coordinating with outside resources for repairs and maintenance.
To guide and contribute in the decision-making within biomedical engineering on risk and hazard value-based assessments and corrective & preventive action planning (CAPA) with appropriate follow-up and resolution. Also support other technical staff in training and job performance activities.

Install, adjust, maintain, and/or repair biomedical equipment with proper use of calibrated tools, PPE’s and safety precautions and ensure that all the bio-medical equipment and services are operating at an optimum efficiency.
Advise Branch Managers on the planning, acquisition, and proper use of medical equipment.
Advise and assist in the safe application of instrumentation in clinical environments
Carry out instructions and assignments issued by the Facilities Manager.
Attend to complaints received from the Clinic regarding malfunctioning or breakdown of any equipment or service, associated with medical system, in a timely and a professional manner.
Carry out preventive maintenance of equipment as per schedule that includes but not limited to, manufacturer’s standard and checklists, electrical safety tests as necessary, with the use of applicable PPE’s and precautions in adherence to OSH practices.
Maintain all logs and records of equipment repairs, modifications, alterations on asset listing and monthly reporting.
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics with medical equipment/application experience.
