Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of medical furniture, including manual and powered wheelchairs, lifts, and other mobility equipment.
- Provide technical support to customers regarding equipment use, troubleshooting steps, and repair processes.
- Conduct inspections and routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Document repair activities, parts used, service reports, and customer interactions in accordance with company procedures.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to order parts, schedule service appointments, and resolve technical issues.
- Assist with equipment setup, installation, and configuration for clients as needed.
- Ensure timely, professional, and customer-focused service delivery.
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience in repairing power wheelchairs, mobility devices, or similar mechanical equipment.
- Familiarity with common wheelchair components: motors, batteries, control modules, frames, and seating systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to diagnose issues efficiently and perform hands-on repairs safely and accurately.
