Biostatistician

Design and implement biostatistical and bioinformatics pipelines for omics and large-scale biological data (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics, metabolomics)
Perform complex statistical analyses, including modeling, hypothesis testing, and predictive analytics
Provide consultation on experimental design and assist in interpreting results with a strong emphasis on scientific rigor
Support and co-author scientific publications, grants, and research proposals in coordination with faculty and research teams
Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams including clinicians, laboratory scientists, computational biologists, and project managers
Lead the integration of data pipelines and platforms, ensuring compatibility with clinical and research standards
Mentor junior staff, including training in biostatistics and bioinformatics tools and best practices
Participate in recruitment efforts and contribute to the development of a bioinformatics/biostatistics section
Remain current with methodological advancements in bioinformatics, statistics, and data science

Qualifications

PhD in Biostatistics or related field
