BIS Compliance Officer / Quality Assurance Executive (Bureau of Indian Standards)

We are hiring a BIS Compliance Officer / Quality Assurance Executive (Bureau of Indian Standards)

• Manage and oversee all BIS certification processes for products and manufacturing units
• Prepare, submit, and track applications for BIS licenses, renewals, and surveillance audits
• Coordinate with BIS-approved laboratories for product testing and sample submissions
• Maintain and update technical documents, test reports, quality manuals, and compliance records
• Ensure timely implementation of BIS regulations, amendments, and updates
• Coordinate with production, quality, and R&D teams to meet BIS standards and technical specifications
• Support internal and external audits (BIS surveillance, factory inspections, etc.)
• Maintain compliance with ISI marking requirements and labelling guidelines
• Identify gaps in manufacturing processes and recommend corrective actions
• Train teams on BIS standards, documentation, and compliance procedures.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related fields
• Hands-on experience with BIS compliance, ISI certification, or regulatory quality systems
• Strong understanding of Indian Standards (IS codes) related to your product category
• Experience working with quality management systems (ISO 9001 preferred)
• Strong documentation, analytical, and coordination skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with BIS officials, testing labs, and internal teams.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
