Job Summary
The Bistro Attendant is to prepare alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, Specialty coffees and serve/prepare food in accordance within the brand's quality and control standards. To assist in the overall duties of the daily operation of the F&B department including meeting banquets to efficiently serve all hotel patrons in a courteous and professional manner. To maintain proper sanitation at all times as per local health department regulations and guidelines. Candidates should have flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Chef or the shift supervisor at the beginning of your shift.
- Complete duties as assigned by the Chef.
- Assist the Chef or shift supervisor in checking for proper food and taste.
- Check staffing levels. Inform appropriate staff members of any call outs and notify of any changes. Consult with the Chef or supervisor if reinforcements need to be called.
- Check warewashing machine for proper temperature and chemical level.
- Make sure appropriate dishes and silverware are set up nearby for easy access during your shift.
- Ensure the MICROS equipment is in correct functioning order and all supplies are stocked and available.
- Six hour shifts.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for 8 hours, lift push pull up to 20lbs
- Food Handlers Card Required
- Be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
- Previous food and beverage experience
