We are looking for a bright and passionate BIW Design Engineer with the skills below

Job Location - Bangalore

Experience - 3 to 6 years

Roles and Responsibilities

• CAD modelling and drawing creation of BIW panels and assemblies in NX.
• Concept proposal, creating or updating master sections, Packaging study, Interference check.
• Creation of joining elements for the assembly e.g. Spot welds, bolted joints, etc
• Should be able to resolve the issues received from CAE, manufacturing feasibility, etc
• Interact with cross function teams, manufacturing vendors.
• Adherence of QMS process.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in product design for BIW component/Assemblies.
• Knowledge of product design for casting component will be added advantage.
• Should be able to apply GD&T at Individual part and subassembly/System Level.
• Experience working on door design, door hinge designs will be added advantage.
• Experience in DFMEA, PPAP, etc
• Software – NX (Must)
• PLM tools- Team Center, etc
