Key Responsibilities

• Perform design calculation for brake system sizing and predict brake performance by considering regulatory requirements and ensuring the product met according to homologation Standard.
• Sub system & component level design Calipers/ Master Cylinder/Delay Valve/ levers/ Disc.
• Sound knowledge in System / Sub system / component level testing.
• Benchmarking performance parameters / Tear down analysis/ Reverse engineering of components.
• Creating 3D and 2D drawing for prototypes manufacturing based on TDA/RE.
• Understanding the product requirement and assigning the GD&T / Tolerance Stack up accordingly.
• Concept proving with the help of prototype parts obtained by alignment with prototype team and proto suppliers.
  
  

Ideal Candidate

• B.E/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 Years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in the 2Wheeler Brakes.
• Hands-on experience in Solid works & PLM.
• Knowledge of DFMEA/DFA/DFM/DFS and other quality tools.
• Knowledge of Material & Material selection.
• Knowledge of Casting & Machining process.
