Position: Blockchain Engineer (Smart Contracts & Infrastructure)

Type: Full-time / Contract

Overview

We are designing an on-chain performance protocol focused on precision trading mechanics, reward automation, and infrastructure resilience. You will be responsible for building the smart contract layer, collaborating with protocol developers, and pushing on scalability, gas optimization, and execution safety.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modular smart contracts in Solidity for:
• Position lifecycle (open/modify/close)
• Margin accounting and liquidation logic
• Trading reward systems and staking pools
• Treasury routing and performance analytics
• Integrate and monitor external oracle networks (e.g., Pyth, RedStone, Chainlink)
• Write tests in Foundry (or Hardhat), benchmark gas, and optimize deployment
• Coordinate with infrastructure team to define protocol-level interfaces (RPCs, subgraphs)
• Lead integration of wallet-native UX, sequencer routing, and modular upgrades

Required Technical Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Solidity with deployed contracts on Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains
• Advanced understanding of EVM internals, gas modeling, storage patterns
• Experience writing with Foundry, Hardhat, or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with rollup architectures (Optimism, Arbitrum Nitro, ZK Rollups)
• Hands-on experience with at least one of:
• DeFi perps protocols (dYdX, GMX, Perpetual Protocol)
• AMMs, staking vaults, or liquidity engines
• Oracle-fed pricing and liquidation logic

Bonus

• Prior work on performance-focused DeFi protocols (perpetuals, structured products, or vaults)
• Deep understanding of slippage-free execution, MEV protection, and batch settlement
• Built or audited a cross-margin engine or complex asset accounting contract
