BMS Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and commission BMS systems as per project specifications.
• Review and validate technical drawings, schematics, and BMS architecture.
• Coordinate with MEP, HVAC, electrical, and IT teams to ensure system integration.
• Monitor and test BMS equipment and software during installation and commissioning phases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BMS hardware and software.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and operation manuals.
• Conduct training for facility management or client teams on system usage.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely and proper system installation.
• Support maintenance and upgrades of BMS systems as required post-handover.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proven experience (3–5 years) as a BMS Engineer, preferably in construction or contracting firms.
• Strong knowledge of BMS systems (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, Johnson Controls).
• Familiar with HVAC systems, control logic, PLCs, sensors, actuators, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret construction and MEP drawings.
• Good understanding of integration with fire alarm, access control, and energy management systems.
• Proficient in relevant software (AutoCAD, MS Office, BMS programming tools).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
