The BMS Site Engineer is responsible for the
installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems (BMS)
on site. The role ensures proper functioning of HVAC, lighting, and other automated building systems in compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
Responsibilities

Supervise and execute BMS installation works on site.

Install and configure controllers, sensors, actuators, and network devices.

Assist in testing, commissioning, and integration of BMS with HVAC, lighting, and other systems.

Read and interpret BMS drawings, schematics, and I/O lists.

Coordinate with MEP teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.

Troubleshoot BMS hardware and software issues during installation and commissioning.

Prepare site reports, progress updates, and documentation.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and HSE requirements.

Support handover, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.

3-5 years of experience in BMS.

Experience in BMS, HVAC controls, and ELV systems.

Familiarity with protocols like BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks.

Knowledge of DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, and field devices.

Ability to read control diagrams and schematics.
