BMS Supervisor - FM

Job Title: BMS Supervisor
Location: Doha, Qatar

Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field)

Job Purpose: To oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of the Building Management System (BMS) across client facilities, ensuring energy efficiency, system reliability, and compliance with FM standards in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Operations: Monitor and control HVAC, lighting, power, fire, and plumbing systems via BMS (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, Tridium).
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Lead preventive and corrective maintenance; diagnose and resolve BMS hardware/software faults to minimize downtime.
• Team Supervision: Supervise BMS technicians and operators; schedule shifts, assign tasks, and ensure safe work practices.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze BMS data to improve energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and enhance occupant comfort.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate logs, trend analysis, and incident reports; provide performance updates to FM management.
• Compliance: Ensure all BMS activities align with local regulations (e.g., QCDD, Kahramaa) and client SLAs.
• Coordination: Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, and other FM teams (HVAC, electrical) for integrated system operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering/technical field.
• Experience: 6-8 years in BMS operations, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role within Facilities Management.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in BACnet, Modbus, LON protocols; experience with SCADA and DDC controllers.
• Certifications (preferred): Siemens PXC, Honeywell WEBs, Tridium Niagara, or similar.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, troubleshooting, report writing, and communication skills.
• Local Requirement: Prior GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage; ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
