BMS T&C Engineer

BMS T&C Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities

1. Pre-Commissioning Activities

• Review BMS shop drawings, control schematics, points list, and sequences of operation
• Verify panel installation, power supply, earthing, and labeling
• Check field device installation (sensors, actuators, valves, dampers)
• Coordinate with HVAC, Electrical, and ELV teams before testing
• Ensure network topology (BACnet / Modbus / Lon) is correct

2. Point-to-Point (P2P) Testing

• Perform I/O point verification between field devices and BMS controllers
• Validate AI, AO, DI, DO signals
• Rectify wiring, addressing, or configuration issues
• Prepare and submit P2P test reports for consultant/client approval

3. Software & Programming Support

• Upload and test controller programs
• Verify control logic, interlocks, alarms, and safeties
• Configure setpoints, schedules, trends, and alarms
• Support graphics development and testing
• Coordinate software changes with the BMS vendor (e.g., Honeywell)

4. System Commissioning

• Commission BMS for:
• AHUs, FCUs, VAVs
• Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers
• Heat exchangers, ETS, meters
• Validate sequence of operation as per approved documents
• Perform cause & effect testing
• Ensure integration with third-party systems (Chillers, UPS, Fire Alarm, Energy meters)

5. Integrated Testing & Witnessing

• Coordinate T&C activities with Consultant, Client, and Authorities
• Support Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
• Attend witness testing and close consultant comments

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
