BMS TECHNICIAN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled BMS (Building Management System) Technician to ensure the efficient operation of building automation systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of BMS equipment to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, program, and configure BMS systems and equipment in accordance with project specifications.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure all systems operate efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve faults in BMS hardware and software in a timely manner.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Coordinate with engineers and other teams for system integration with HVAC, lighting, and other building systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system updates.
• Report spare parts requirements and ensure availability of critical components.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools, testing instruments, and equipment.
• Comply with safety standards and company procedures at all times.
• Stay updated with the latest BMS technologies and industry practices.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• ITI Certificate / Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a BMS Technician in the GCC region.
• Strong knowledge of BMS systems, controllers, and field devices.
• Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and control schematics.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• BMS related certifications will be an added advantage.
• Experience with Honeywell Alerton BMS will be an added advantage.
• Must possess a valid QID with NOC for transfer and be available for immediate joining.
