BMS Technician (DDC Systems)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BMS Technician to join our maintenance team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, programming, commissioning, and servicing of Building Management Systems (BMS/DDC). This role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to ensure the reliable operation of building automation systems across various facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission DDC/BMS control panels, field devices, and related components.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for BMS systems in facilities including hospitals, schools, and residential complexes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems.
• Support efficient operation of HVAC and electromechanical equipment through monitoring, calibration, and system optimization.
• Maintain accurate documentation, wiring diagrams, and service records.
• Coordinate with engineers and maintenance teams to meet operational and maintenance requirements.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures during installation, servicing, and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Certificate (1–1.5 years) in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Communication from a recognized institute (e.g., ITI, TESDA, NVQ).
• Practical experience in DDC/BMS installation, programming, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Previous electromechanical maintenance experience in GCC facilities such as hospitals, schools, or residential buildings.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities in BMS and automation systems.
• Good communication skills and basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
• Currently residing in Qatar with a valid visa and QID.
