About this opportunity:
We are excited to announce an opportunity to join the Ericsson team as BO Tapping and Probing Engineer. This role is crucial to ensuring continuous, high-quality service to our customers. As part of this dynamic team, you will coordinate, support, and manage both proactive and reactive maintenance activities. Your responsibility will be to maintain service availability and performance at optimum levels, as stipulated in our Service Level Agreement (SLA).
What you will do:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.- Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications or IT.
- Strong networking knowledge and expertise in infrastructure and hardware.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Hands-on experience with Linux OS and database management.
- Proficiency in packet capture and analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, PCAP processing).
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and negotiate effectively.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or on-call duties when required.
- Knowledge of core mobile network domains and protocols (SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP, etc.) is a plus.
The skills you bring :
Conduct daily network audits to ensure stability and performance.- Perform regular system backups and maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-domain professionals to enhance system functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve TTs, incidents, and customer complaints.
- Manage support tickets and liaise with vendors for issue resolution.
- Document technical findings and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist in new project integrations alongside integration teams.
