Position Overview
The Clinical Supervisor for Behavioral Wellness Coaches (BWCs) provides leadership, oversight, and clinical supervision to BWCs delivering school-based behavioral support services. This role is held by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who brings expertise in behavior analysis, supervision, and school-based interventions. The Clinical Supervisor ensures quality of care, fidelity of implementation, and professional development for BWCs while maintaining compliance with organizational and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Leadership
Provide direct clinical supervision and performance oversight to BWCs.
Ensure alignment of BWC interventions with PBIS frameworks and applied behavior analysis principles.
Assessment & Clinical Planning
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and behavior analytic assessments as needed.
Ensure BWCs are trained and implementing interventions with fidelity.
Documentation & Compliance
Monitor BWC documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and clinical appropriateness.
Maintain records of supervision, assessments, and treatment planning activities.
Collaboration & Communication
Serve as primary liaison between clinical leadership and BWC staff.
Support crisis planning and de-escalation protocols in collaboration with BWCs and school teams.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role:
Education & Certification
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field (required).
Licensed or license-eligible in California (preferred).
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in behavior analysis or school-based behavioral services.
Experience working with school-age children in diverse, underserved communities.
Skills & Competencies
Expertise in ABA principles, BIP development, and FBAs.
Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred, but not required.
Other Requirements
Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must pass background checks and meet all school-site clearance requirements
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent in this position has no supervisory responsibilities.
