Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will play a vital role in providing behavioral therapy and support to students with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis, experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, and a commitment to patient care and ethical standards.
Duties
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapies, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), tailored to each client's needs.
- Collect, record, and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency in intervention delivery.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other staff involved in client care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all ethical guidelines and standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Requirements
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and special education principles.
- Proven ability in data collection, patient assessment, and developing effective treatment plans.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and medical documentation procedures.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Experience working within behavioral health settings, providing patient care, and conducting diagnostic evaluations.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers.
